Protocol boundaries

Fund Registry is a non-custodial publishing tool. By using this service, you acknowledge the following:

Non-custodialWe never hold, receive, or transmit funds. Bitcoin is sent directly from donor to the address published by the campaign creator.

Irreversible transactionsBitcoin transactions cannot be reversed, refunded, or disputed. Verify the address and the campaign before sending.

Verification scopeWallet verification proves cryptographic control of the listed funding address. It does not verify the identity, intent, or truthfulness of the campaign creator.

Campaign Key ownershipAccess to a campaign page is controlled by a downloaded Campaign Key file. If lost, it cannot be recovered. Fund Registry has no backdoor access.

Time-bound pagesAll pages expire. Free pages last 10 days. Paid pages last 30 or 90 days. After expiry, pages enter a grace period and then are tombstoned.

Immutable Bitcoin addressThe listed Bitcoin address cannot be changed after page creation. Fund Registry is Bitcoin-only. This is a security measure to prevent address-swap attacks.

For campaign creators

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your campaign description.
You must control the Bitcoin address you publish. Wallet verification is required for paid tiers.
You must download and securely store your Campaign Key. We cannot recover it.
Pages that violate applicable law or are reported as fraudulent may be removed.

For donors

Verify the campaign and address before sending any Bitcoin.
A green verification badge means the creator proved wallet control — not that the campaign is legitimate.
Transactions are final. Fund Registry cannot reverse, refund, or mediate payments.
Do your own due diligence. We are a registry, not an escrow or intermediary.

Report abuse

If you believe a campaign is fraudulent, illegal, or violates these terms, report it by including the campaign URL or verification code. Reports are reviewed manually.
